My name is Ayana Perry, I am a currently a undergrad student at the University of Florida, and I am the Founder of Strive Forward, a community assistance non-profit based in Central Florida. When I began to volunteer in my community in January of 2018, I began to notice how often individuals in my city where in need of food and clothing, but without the means, there was little they could do to improve their situations. I wanted to help those I was coming across, so I volunteered a little more every day and asked friends and family to help me in my mission. The more I gave my time to my community, the more I started to see peoples’ health and livelihoods improve.

  Strive Forward was built on this newfound purpose to help those at a disadvantage in our Central Florida communities by providing them with the assistance they need to meet their basic needs. We specialize in offering forward-thinking practices and solutions that provide the critical and life-changing services our local elderly and families desperately need. As the Founder, I make it my number one priority to offer the services that our elderly and underprivileged communities need most in that moment, whether it is medical assistance, financial assistance with essential utilities, or even a food delivery. If there is a person or family who does not have the means to meet a need in their life, my mission is to lend a helping hand in order to change lives, on person at a time.
